Remember the first part of the Florence Snapshots from a couple of years ago? It was a rainy and cold autumn day and I had to turn all the pictures into black & white because everything was gray, but this time, a sunny spring day was waiting and we just had to wanter through the narrow streets and enjoy the beauty of this city.
Besides the famous Piazzale Michelangelo that has the best views over the city, we went further up the hill and visited for the first time the beautiful basilica of San Miniato al Monte, one of the oldest churches in Florence built between the 11th and 12th Centuries. Inside, among the darkness you can admire the beautiful mosaics and frescoes the choir and the Michelozzo chapel.
