Although it might seem a bit touristy to eat at Grand Central Terminal, we can't deny there are great food options and our NYC's favorites like Shake Shack heavenly burgers, Magnolia Bakery's and Junior's sweet treats, the fresh tuna from the food market and of course, the oysters from the Oyster Bar.
A historic space inside GCT, the Oyster Bar opened in 1913 in the station's old train depot, it is a food destination offering more than 25 different oyster varieties, all super fresh, and other tasty dishes accompanied by an extensive wine list (few good Italian wines, though).
We loved everything about this place: its atmosphere, the seats around the bars, the vaulted ceilings, the quick and effective service and of course, the oysters and the lobster cocktail (even the sauces were good!). A must visit in Grand Central Terminal!
And since you're there, why not have some fun and try the whispering gallery???
