Mini Cruise to Oslo

Go to sleep in Copenhagen, wake up in Oslo!

It is possible thanks to the daily mini-cruise of DFDS Seaways that leaves Copenhagen at 16.30 and arrives to Oslo the following day at 9.30. If you don't want to stay overnight in Oslo, then you just take the cruise back to Copenhagen the same day at 16.30, and you'll wake up again in Copenhagen at 9.30 the following day.

We booked a seaview cabin for 2 (actually there were 4 bunk beds in our cabin but we could only use the 2 lower); all cabins have a bathroom with shower and towels, shower gel and bed sheets are provided. The beds were comfortable enough, water pressure in the shower was OK and even if there's not much space in the cabin, it's perfect just for the night.

There are some bars and restaurants in the ship (a bit expensive), wine bar, a Baresso coffee bar, some shops (duty free), children's play area, a spa and seating areas outside and inside. Wi-Fi is available in all public areas but the signal is terribily slow.

We got a very good deal on DFDS' Danish website and ended up paying less than 100 euro for 2 people, return tickets in a seaview cabin; we also added a breakfast buffet and dinner buffet extra (they weren't cheap at all but the buffets were extensive and good - just try to avoid the peak hours where it gets really crowded).
